    We have used a single teflon plate on the previous '05 Suites for over 7 years; the one on the '15 was 3 years old and no wear. They last for a long time if you don't let one drop off and lose it while parked. Sometimes, a rubber o-ring is needed around the pin to keep it from dropping off. Also, get the larger one, not the smaller one.
    Just sold the Companion and there were no scratches/gouges on the hitch plate--looked really good.

    This is a profile comment area. Sorry, don't check here often. As to covers, the only 2 I have owned (shorter TT, 36'fiver) did not work well as we used the units to often.
    Also, believe price is an indicator of quality...
