Lithium Battery Conversion

Time to buy new batteries. I would like to go to Lithium and was wondering if the OEM Freedom HFS inverter will charge them correctly.

Pros and Cons?

2017 DRV 36RSSB3

Thanks
Tom

You need the proper converter, Not an inverter

Not familiar with the Freedom products but if it is a combo inverter charger you will need to check to see if it programmable.

LiFEPO4 batteries have specific charging parameters

As for lithium batteries I recommend getting one that have cold temp protection. They cost a little more but can prevent cold weather charging damage. Its possible your inverter-charger has a "custom" charging setting. If it does then use the charge specs from your new lithium batteries. They are usually printed on the batteries.
