Goodyear had a bad run of 614 tires that you always seem to hear about. They have since resolved those issues. However they also stood behind their product being defective and in every case I have heard about really stepped up to the plate to make things right including paying for damage caused by failure. However, I have also seen allot of cases where the trailer manufacturers have put the G rated Goodyear 614 on trailers that should have had a H rated tires also. IMHO, I would not rule out Goodyear as a choice on a trailer the size you have.
I have had GY 614's on our trailer for 6 years and only had one failure. GY stepped up and made things right on both the tire and some minor damage to our unit. We are 11,500 dry and I approximate around 14,000 loaded on average.
