Nervous noob!!

Hi all, Tim from Monroeville (near Pittsburgh) PA. We'll be picking up our '16 F350 Diesel SRW next week! Very excited but also very nervous! We don't have a trailer yet but are looking for a 5er in the 30' range. Getting close to retirement and wanted to start buying the bigger ticket items while we were still working! Looking forward to learning from you all.

That's a tough question. There is a lot to pick from in that range. Just going to have to do your homework. Sorry!

Might want to consider getting a dually. Fifth wheels should put 20-25% of their weight on the truck. For example an rv with a GVWR of 16,000 pounds could add 4,000 pounds to the back of your truck. I usually recommend buying the rv first, then you know how much truck you need!
