Slide out maintenance

I have 3 slides that have some 4 inch wide tape out near the top outside of slide when out. The tape is looking a little warped and weathered. Can I replace or repair this tape? Do you know of a conditioner or cleaner for the slide seals? Saw on a how-to video, they used baby power. How often do you treat them? I want to wash the top and side of slides, can I use a low power, power washer, 900 lbs?

If the tape is weathered badly, best to replace it with Eternabond--do it right and you won't have to do it again.
I would think any baby/talcum powder would work on the seals. Think I have seen 'slide seal lube' in RV stores, but don't know if they do any good.
As to the power washer--many use them, others say don't; I have used one with the low-pressure/wide spray without damage. But it wouldn't be hard to rip the roof open with a jet...

I agree with wingnut60. It is better to replace it since it is weathered badly.
