Kitchen backsplash
Was tired of the wall behind the stovetop. While walking through Lowe's saw these foil covered panels used as a kitchen backsplash.
DH agreed to install & definitely helps makes unit "ours". We chose copper color since it most closely matched our bronze fixtures & hardware.

Looks nice. How easy is it to deal with water spots?

hitchup,
That looks really sharp. Congrats on a very eye-appealing addition to "your" Suite.

No water splashes since it's in our stove alcove. It's a foil material over plastic, so seems fairly durable. If we didn't have the granite cooktop cover for wall protection, we wouldn't have installed it near the stove.
It looks like tin ceiling tile in large sheets, but is lightweight. We originally bought 2 shts then decided to go with 3 shts to cover whole area. Separate sheets of metal foil are used to wrap the outlets.
It may have some insulation value, too. It installs with wallboard tube glue or a doublesided tape that was in same display area. David used the glue. Am not sure about cleaning instructions. I'll check to see if I have anything in storage on it.

Vickie,
It must be nice to have artistic talent. I can't draw a straight line. First F I ever got in school was in art class. It's not easy to get an F in art, either.

Vickie,
Thanks for sharing your ideas for those of us decoratively challenged.
