2005 Silverado 1500 HD Crew Cab-What can I tow?

Thought this would be the best place to ask this question, since this site is geared for people with knowledge and experience with 5th Wheel Trailers. Regarding a 2005 Silverado 1500 HD Crew Cab which is rated by Chevrolet Specs. as a lite 3/4 ton pickup. The specs. are Max Trailer 8200lbs. and GCWR is 14,000lbs. Can someone suggest a brand of 5th wheel we can tow? Would like a walk around queen bed in the trailer and a slide out.
Thank You for your replies.

I would look for a 5er under 1100lbs pin weight loaded. Pay no attention to dry weight, its a fiction.

We will keep the pin weight in mind.

Our last RV was a 2004 Rockwood 8285SS (30'). We LOVED it.
Although we had a 2500HD, the RV was lightweight and very easy to tow. The GVWR was 8081 (6080 dry) and the hitch weigh was 1081. We had ZERO issues with the RV. In the year we owned it, we never had it back in for service. Our only problem was the Carlisle tires (blowouts). I'd highly recommend it.

The Rockwood is made by Forest River.

We enjoyed RVing so much, we 'moved up' to a 2005 Mobile Suites 36TK3.

cptxguys-
I was going to ask you why you only had the Rockwood for a year. Why did you get rid of it.......but then I seen your signature.....a new 2005 Chev. 3500 ....nice truck! Enjoy! I guess I would be moving up too
