Insurance question

Newbie Looking to go full time. Trying to work out budget. Can anyone give me a rough estimate on insurance costs for a fifth wheel and truck? Looking at mobile suite (used 2014 est $75k and diesel truck 2015 RAM est $55k) does home state make a huge difference? Thinking about South Dakota. Right now live in TN Thanks for any help.

There are many variables that will impact your insurance costs. The home state does have a big impact. Also, the levels of coverage and deductibles will make a big difference. Only a handful of insurance companies write insurance for full-timers but it is important that you have this level of insurance. We pay about $2,600 for coverage on our 2016 Mobile Suites and 2015 RAM 3500 but we are Texas based with high coverage levels including total loss replacement on the fifth wheel.

Vehicle is a state-specific item, so yes, very important what state you are registered in.
Check out escapees.com for some very important actual experiences of full-timers.
