Question 5th wheel towing a Jeep behind it. Has anyone heard of this?

I’m considering buying a 5th wheel. Will tow it with a truck. Would like to bring a Jeep too. Can this be attached to the rear of the 5th wheel and not get killed.

Could be done, but safely? Legally? Don't know. Standard trailer hitches aren't rated for the Jeep towing weight. Lights? Brakes? Seen lots of boats behind, ATV trailers, but not a Jeep.

The typical curb weight of an average Jeep over many models is between 4K and 5.5K pounds, being over according to the hitch that came on our DRV. You'd have to have a good shop install a better hitch/receiver assembly. We see this all the time in our travels, legal or not. And triple tow our Harley/sidecar from Florida to Wisconsin, Colorado, Arizona and back to Tennessee regularly.

I've seen boats and a few small cars and motorcycle trailers being triple towed.

A jeep is a good bit heavier. Going over road irregularities could lighten up the hitch weight and effect handling maybe?
Do they make toy haulers that can handle a jeep?

It looks like you might be better off with a class A. No problem with the jeep.
