Is there a Hitchhiker group anymore?

Looked at MS, Cameo, and found a little used HH Champagne. Looking for other owners and followers.

IF the fiver has been well-cared-for, it could be a gem. Very good units, they just couldn't survive without a dealer network being from the center of nowhere, Chanute, KS. There are tons of them around, check the link given above.

Once up on a time while roaming around up in Maine we pulled into a large CG at Trenton. They told us they still had a few sites available in the “back lot” parking area (all FHU sites). We were confused when we got back there. There were about 50 empty sites. It became clearer a day later when a caravan from Texas started arriving. All told, 40 of them, all Hitchhikers and they had a factory rep traveling with them. His rig is in the picture below. Ours is at the far right.

Hello cgrif

We are members of the California Bear RV Club, formerly California Bear Hitchhikers Club. We still have a couple of members with HitchHikers, but that number is dwindling as people upgrade to a newer rig. We are working to get something about the club up on Facebook.

Thank you

Hitchhikers

Thanks to all who replied. I found Nuwaowners.org to be a very helpful and informative site. Plus Hauling Hitchhikers club is alive and well. A regional rally is slated for early September in Bayfield Colorado. 12 members have signed up so far, and SOB's are welcome as well. Very nice park in Bayfield, just east of Durango. Keep me posted if your California group has anything scheduled that I might attend from AZ.
