MorRyde ramp door repair

Noticed one of the ramp door counter-balance cables is missing (which would explain why the ramp is so hard to lift). Anyone have experience replacing the cable or working on the actuators, door lock, etc.?
I haven’t been able to find a diagram that shows how this ramp mechanism works…

I had one similar to that and the cable ran up to a spring above the door and it had a plastic cover on it. Can you see where the existing cable goes?
