Domestic RM1350 wire shelves

One of my shelves has the coating wearing out.
It seems to be some type of a rubber coating.
Any idea what I need to do to repair it?

Put a piece of drawer liner over the shelve and you won't ever remember it's there, and things on the shelve won't slide around as much.
