Arizona I-40 quick and easy overnight, BLM

There is a convenient overnight spot on BLM land just off the north side of I-40 exit 151 in Arizona. There are no services, but If you're eastbound and want to overnight there dry, beware the bridge you must go under has a clearance of only 11 feet.

To get to the BLM land on the north side from I-40 eastbound, you get off and turn left to go under the interstate. The clearance of 11' is painted on the side of the bridge.

If you can't get under the bridge, I suggest continuing eastbound to exit 161, turn left to cross the interstate, and come back to exit 151, exit and turn right and you're right there.

When you leave, you must continue westbound to an exit you can cross over the interstate and get back on eastbound and have a nice trip.

There are no clearance issues getting off or on westbound.
