On the Go portable water De-ionizer - ** PRODUCT REVIEW **

If you've read the forums you'll know we are currently testing a product from On The Go which is their portable water softener. In addition and probably the most exciting to me is an additional product they sell which is a water de-ionizer used for washing your RV or tow vehicle leaving a spot free surface without having to dry.
Our water here in Wyoming is so hard and contained a high amount of dissolved solids. This left some nasty spotting on our Black GMC Dually even with drying. In the past we had used the Mr. Clean AutoDry product commonly available at WalMart with limited success - it helped but I'd say was only a 20% improvement. The portable De-Ionizer from On the Go is similar to their water softener but performs a different function which we will detail in our in-depth review. We used the unit immediately upon arrival washing or truck in the hot Wyoming sun and letting dry in the sun. I was very hesitant as this would normally be considered a huge mistake requiring clay barring of the entire vehicle followed up by 2 coats of wax to remove the spots. I was very surprised and extremely impressed with the results which was indeed a spot free surface.
We're about to embark on a 2 month trip and will be taking this unit with us. Check back for a more detailed review when we return.
