This is our 2nd 5er. First was a 2004 Rockwood 8285SS (30'). Traded it in on a 2005 Doubletree Mobile Suite 36TK3. Both have been great RVs. Only 'issue' with the Rockwood was the lousy Carlise tires. Three out of four blew out on our first long (> 1,000 mile) trip.

Oh, C'mon

Judging from what you've wrote here, I don't think you understand anything about it.

We are "first time" 5W owners. I traded from a 900+ foot ship using a 11400 Hp diesel for propulsion (plus three 1000kw generators for power and a measly 240kw generator for a backup) to a 39' Teton 5'er (with a 7kw backup) pulled by a 300 Hp SportChassis.
All things considered... we actually traded upward !!!
Gotta love retirement !!!!

We are 1st Time 5er's, but have had 4 Bumper Pulls (23' to 30') since 1971, so put me down for the middle choice.
Bought a 30' RLS Outback Sydney in Feb 05, but liked the Mobile Suites very much and traded for an 05 36TK3 in June.....(I know, stupid at least once last year).

We have been mulyiple 5th wheel owners, the last 12 years being WRV - Alpenlite models. We have just recently ordered a Mobile Suite 36 RS3 from DoubleTree and should take delivery on or about the last part of this Feb. After that we attend to travel the Northwest area of the US

This web site as well as the Mobile Suites website has proved some very interesting observations, thoughts and recommendations. If any one knows of good fishing locations that can have a 1 ton F-350 and 36 ft 5th wheel close to the fishing locations please send us your rcommendations.

We had a tag before this MS.

So we are first time 5th wheel owners.

We traded up to a Mobile Suites 36ft TK3, our first fifth wheel, from a Sunline 25 Ft TT. The trade was in March 2006.
We love it and have decided, when possible, to be fulltimers.

Just started full-time in our first 5th wheel and medium duty truck. Have owned trailers before - a 35' avion tt, and two 16' shastas tt's as well as a "turtle trailer" (the one that only has a mattress inside and kitchen that opens in the back).

We love this 1999 38' Avion 5th wheel! Cant wait for the house to sell and we can hit the road!
