Just another introduction...

G'day all:

I'm Dave. I have a 2021 Silverado 3500, diesel, dually, CC, long bed, 2WD. I have a 2022, 43' 5th wheel toy hauler that weighs 21,000 lbs (VWR).

To date, my longest trip so far was 12,800 miles last summer, Alabama to Alaska by way of Las Vegas, NV and back.

I'm retired from my former life as a radar technician with a defense contractor in Nevada. I currently live in the Atlanta, GA area but I keep my RV in Alabama.

From what I've read on RV forums, I probably do more dry camping than many folks. I like to overnight on BLM land and use my generator so I can quickly get in and out. I like to minimize my time enroute in favor of more time playing tourist when I get to where I'm going.

Well, that's about it in a nutshell.

Dave
