I used to use dryer sheets. They worked well.

Urban legends abound and the dryer sheet solution seems to pop up regularly. they have been consistently been shown to NOT repel mice under repeated tests, any more than peppermint crapola and Irish Spring soap. Read up on the internet what works best, stay with legitimate sources and avoid Facebook like poison ivy.
I might be willing to give Fresh Cab a try. It gets good reviews and is available at Tractor Supply.

I have had good luck Filling the Holes. I use steel wool and foam, Mice won't eat the steel wool but will pull so I used the foam to secure it. I had one RV that needed about 8 square feet of under belly material to close one hole at the back.

I don’t do Facebook just market place won’t give the one sided media my support, but the previous owner has iris spring in there already I plan to take tires off n install steel slippery support that they can’t climb, it’s going to be a engineering feat may make steel wheels or a piece that bolts to brake hub so it can still sit on ground?? I don’t like to lose!! It’s going to be a war!

Fill all holes with brass/copper wool and pest formula spray foam. THEN, Purchase Mouse Free spray. It's available with a spray gun. Coat the ENTIRE bottom of the RV including jacks, stabilizers and whatever else you can see. This has a peppermint like smell and a light vaseline type feel. Rodents hate it. I have been using it for 4 years now and have not had one mouse inside the 5th wheel. Wear coveralls and a painters hood when applying. I set my compressor at 60 psi. for the pattern and reach that I like. I will be respraying it this fall just because........... Amazon and others carry it.

Mouse Free

So I bought the 2 gallon n spray gun kit n sprayed the DRV last weekend n it’s in up state NY n I will be returning this weekend to hopefully find none in the 3 traps I put in the belly storage area, this is the first time for this Drv to go up there.I will report results! Here is the old at least a year old other mouse deterrent they chewed on,it was in belly of my other Drv that was up there last year.

So i just returned from my place up state NY after 2 weeks of the ms setting closed up after applying MOUSE FREE only one gallon to the under belly n chassis and set 4 traps with peanut butter 3 in under belly storage and one under sink plumbing in kitchen and not a trap tripped so I would say this product WORKS!!!The only thing attached to ms is power cord. So i will be returning again week or two and will report my findings. My friends that live there entire life and many of them didn't think i would make out to well but they can't believe it!

So after putting the Ms to bed for the winter in upstate NY where I’ve never seen mice like this n all native friends said that’s what’s it like with the mice up here, so I sprayed Mouse Free as per directions in November n we just returned here now in May!! Not one trap of 3 baited with peanut butter still set 2 in belly garage 1 here hose hookup is!!! NOT A TRAP TRIPPED!!! How about that all my friends laughed that it won’t work up here well im sold!!! It works!!!

I haven’t seen many mice where are, plenty of toads and tree frogs though. The tree frogs show up in the darnedest places.
And because of the toad and frog population we have snakes …..
