Emergency brake battery

I am in the process of rebuilding a Gooseneck LQ. I am down to a few issues that I could some advice on.

The emergency brake battery (typically a small battery) needs to be replaced.

I have also read where people have simply used the onboard deep cycle batteries as the power source.


Pros / cons?
