Protective Film for Front End

I'm looking for suggestions for a protective film for the upper front end for temporary use when travelling distance on unimproved/gravel roads. Easy on & off would be attractive. Probably good for one use only. I'm thinking about something more substantial for the lower section - along the lines of a "camper cover". Should I be concerned about the lower few feet of the sides?
Does anyone have some experience in this area?

Thanks for the help.

There was a letter in the most recent issue of Trailer Life and writer talked about using a produce called Transit Shield that he saw at a RV show in Quartzite. Their web site is transitshield.com. Sounds like what you are looking for. If you end up using it, I would be interested in what you think because we are planning a 2007 trip to Alaska.
