New Fifth wheel delivery delay

Ordered our Cardinal 370FLX with custom paint job in March. Was originally told due to COVID to expect around first to middle of June. Now, I'm told it's not going to be back from paint until mid July....anyone experiencing delays?

Not unusual for custom, or just newly placed, orders, heard same story on other forums.

Took a month to get a hitch from the manufacturer to the dealer. Due to covid these rv dealers are extremely busy. The just want that sale and then they tend to forget about you. You have to stay on them to keep things going. At least that's been my experience and it was similar before covid.

Debra, rather than a pessimist or an optimist, I have generally been a realist most of my life. My thoughts on this would be to expect it to roll in about the middle to end of August. For your sake I hope not, but that is the real world of RV'ing.
And welcome to the forum, we don't get many women on here regretfully, but we do enjoy ourselves. Keep us up on your progress.
