Popping 50 amp breaker

We have just moved our newly purchased 1997 Holiday Rambler Imperial 5th wheel to our pad that we will be living at but every time we plug in the shore cable it pops the breaker at the property’s fuse box. It’s all been checked by an electrician at the property with no issues there so we are thinking it’s somewhere in the rvs wiring. However when charging the batteries hooked up to the solar and the inverter there are no issues. I am wondering if it could possibly be in the shore cable which was sitting in the elements outside where the rv was parked before we moved it. Help I need ideas so we can get move in ASAP. Thank you.

Duckman, I am assuming that this is a 50 amp RV hooked to a CORRECT 50 amp service box?

The first thing I would suggest being a electrician is to test to see if you have a short circuit. You will need a volt/ohm meter. Set meter to ohms. Hold one lead on the sort of round pin on your male 50 amp cord end and the other lead on all of the other pins one at a time. You should get no change in your meter reading ( infinite resistance). If they test out now put one lead on one of the side pins and one on the other side. This is to test if you have a short between the two hot wires. Try that and you will know more of what’s going on. Best of luck
