Delamination in 41 RSSB4
I have a 2014 41 RSSB4 and recently noticed an area of delamination measuring about 3 x 3 area above the entrance door. I thought this was not supposed to happen with DRV. Is this an expensive repair and does it require immediate repair? I am out of warranty.

DRV no longer does out-of-warranty work so I hear--immediate repair, would not think so.
Call Paul Cross at Cross RV in LaGrange, IN, and talk to him about it. I am sure he can tell you what you are looking at in repairs. Also, have you inspected the roofline to be sure there are no obvious places that would allow moisture to get in and run down towards the door?

Thanks for info. The roof and everything else appears to be intact. Do you know if they do inside work such as replacing tile and carpet? My unit needs a little refurbishing done. Would like to get it done in one place

Basically, Cross can take your wheels/axles and build the trailer to your specs. There isn't much he can't take on. Just takes some phone calls to discuss, remembering he is just like most of the good shops--stays booked up well in advance.
Been there 3 times now with 2 Suites--biggest thing he did for me was to convert a TK3 (peninsula sink) to a CK3 (island sink). Could not tell it had been changed. Installed a stove oven where I did not have an oven.
Just have to give them a call and talk it over.
Do you ever travel to the Rio Grande Valley of Texas? Several carpet/flooring guys down there for reasonable rates.

Not sure of a single name, just ask around for recommendations. Have read of several people getting re-carpeted while in the valley. Did not mean to convey I have had it done.

I had Paul re-carpet our rig this past spring. He did a good job, but he isn't cheap. $110 per hour. As of this October when I was back in there for some slide work, he was backed up for new appointments until June 2019. He is busier than a one armed paper hanger since DRV quit doing non-warranty work.

Call "All About Floors" at 956-463-2484. The guys name is Lee Beam. He's located Weslaco, TX. He did the carpets and flooring in our 2008 MS. He'll come to your site with hundreds of carpet and flooring samples. Wife spent hours with him going through samples. I went golfing!!!!!
Lee contracts out the installation to someone else, forgot his name, and believe me he's very good at what he does.
We now have a 2017 MS and if and when we decide to redo the flooring that's who we would get to do the job.

As for flooring, it may not interest you, but the wife decided that she wanted to replace the carpet in the living/dining area with some kind of vinyl wood-look flooring. In addition, she also replaced a couple of feet in the hallway going to the bedroom.
While we had it done in Utah, there may be a number of places that could do it.
Here is a link to some pictures for the flooring. (Incidentally, when taking out the old carpet, there is A LOT of staples that have to be removed. That took a lot of the installer's time.

That looks real nice. Why did you elect to not go all the way past the door?
Staples - I think I have already pulled 100+ that were not seated all the way. Walking around in socks looking for the little buggers.

Duane,
We have a side bathroom, and much past the bathroom door, the wall between the bedroom and bathroom curves and isn't a straight 90-degree turn. It would have been a pain to cut the vinyl plank flooring to match the curve.
We had the job done by a gentleman in Kanab, UT that is affiliated with the furniture store that sold us the flooring. He had originally quoted us a price that was exceptional, but after seeing the amount of time and physical labor to do the job, we told him that he needed to charge us more for labor. We didn't need to add to his problems with going further into the bedroom.
Besides, I like having carpet under foot when I first get out of bed.

So is this a floating, interlocking plank product?
Any issues after using it for awhile?
What about the off door slide?

Partly. The flooring is glued down, but the planks do interlock. We've only had the flooring since about June or so of this year, but so far, no problems. As for the kitchen slide, there is nothing showing from the times we've operated that slide. However, the slide rollers are stationary, so the slide doesn't seem to make contact with the flooring.

No. Wife only did what was in the pictures. The linoleum is still in the kitchen area. If you look at the very last picture at the link in the previous comment, it shows the planking ending. It angles from the entry door over to the corner of the kitchen counter.
Not visible in the pictures is the piece of carpet that we had made into a "rug" to put over by my computer desk so that my desk chair wouldn't be rolling around every time my oversized body moved in it. The rug is cut just small enough that it doesn't cover but one floor register for the furnace.
