Aire MSA 38

Just purchased a new MSA 38 Aire, I see there are not very many out there... yet and that's ok with us...trail blazers! We have had many rigs in the past and looked at many brands before buying this one. We have a new Ram 3500 and do not want a dually, so it seems like this rig is a perfect fit...we'll see. Aire really competes with Redwood and Landmark but a step better(in our opinion) in what sold us the great bath for a single bath and interior décor. We would love to hear from anyone that has one, for any issues that are known and if anyone can tell us how the wifi ranger that comes pre installed works for them. Picking it up next Saturday...so excited

SunsetRanch, we are going through the same thing with a MSA 40, pick it up next week. I have only talked to one other owner, he is very satisfied with his unit, has had a few small issues, but that is normal today. Good luck with your new rig.

We have a MSA38... picked it up last year in June. I believe it’s considered a 2018. We’ve had some minor problems but so far all covered by drv..we were out of warranty by about a month..brought it in an drv still took care of the problems.
Had some hairline cracks in the shower floor last time..they paid for a refinisher to take care of it.
Also water leak on the PEX water lines in the utility compartment
Live in Ohio and like the North Carolina beach been there twice last year , once this year with 2 more trips planned..
Found that the little black cabinet latches that hold the doors closed are always breaking so I replace with magnetic latches..seem to work fine.
One last thought is to torque the lug nuts before each trip truck and trailer.
Ford recommends every 2500 miles when towing at 165 ft-lbs.
Had one come loose on the 2011.

As to the cabinet latches--this is my second Suites and both suffer from the broken latches. Be aware, if you want to replace them, there are 2 models--one is much more robust than the factory ones. Everytime I break a latch, I replace with the larger ones--just have to move the mounting holes on the door. The cabinet locking part works with both sizes. Usually available at every RV parts store, just take a close look at the hook part and you will see what I mean. You can also just buy the hook parts if you look carefully.
I really dislike working on cabinets--never know when I am putting the holes in the correct place.

I had similar problems specifically on a couple of the heavier doors and some poor workmanship. I never figured what the actual problem was but door hinges had shimmed thus moving out of adjustment applying side pressure on the latch. The factory used steel washers as a shim, I used 3/16 inch alum angle. I pre-drilled the alum for the hinge and mounted the alum to the cabinet. On a panty door I added 2 extra hinges. Not problem since on those doors.
