Residential Oven

Hello
Has anyone ever modified their 5th wheel 50 amp service to accomodate a 240 v 30 inch oven and if so did you install a separate breaker? Also, what else could you run at the same time using the oven? TIA.

I do no believe the wiring would carry the load of a 240v stove. You would have to rewire the trailer.

The simple answer is yes, it can be done with out much effort. I added a 240 volt dryer to my rig with ease and less than $100 outlay. The DRV factory offers this as a factory install. Requires a 50a circuit and would limit what major things you could operate at the same time, but no big deal. Separate breaker in the existing panel is required for protection of the stove. The cabinet work would be the hardest part in my mind.
