Question Under belly tire carrier?

My spare tire is mounted to the rack on the back of the camper. I lift/lower the weight of the spare tire every time I raise/lower the rack. I want to move the spare to under the belly, preferable between the front jacks. Looking for recommendations for under belly spare tire holders. I would prefer something that has a crank/cable to raise/lower the tire.

Both Morryde and Lippert (LCI) make these carriers.

Where it can be located depends on where your tanks are and the frame construction. I have a Lippert and it’s mounted behind the rear axle on my 2016 Vougar 327RES that’s 39’ long. I’d suggest that you consult with your dealer as to where it can be mounted. Mine could not be mounted closer to the front of the fiver.

I like this type best—I put two of them on.

Easy to install and sturdy.

I like that. I like that a lot.
Thanks. That might be my March project.
