grp29 AGM Gel Bartteries and converter

Hi all
I am replacing the batteries in my camper. replacing the grp24 size lead acid with Grp 29 gel cell AGM's.

I am finding that its recommended to have a special charger to charge these type of batteries on the internet.

Will my stock converter ruin these batteries ?
