Back flow valve location

My gray water flush leaks when in use. I've been told it is probably a bad back flow valve and that access to the valve is through an access panel located above the sink in the bedroom. Even though this is where the leak appears to be, there is nothing behind this access panel except water connections for the shower. Being a 2014 DRV ES 38PS4, ours is a somewhat unique floor plan which may be why the valve is not in the normal location. I would appreciate any thoughts on how to get to the valve. Thanks.

i have a 2004 Montana 5th wheel. I watch the weatherization videos on u tube. They say the water heater has a by pass valve and you are to turn that to the off position after you drain it
. I haven't been able to locate it. Can somebody advise me where i should be looking. I can only assume every water heater has a by pass valve

I answered this on your first post about it. Again, not every fiver/TT comes with the bypass already installed--in 2004, might have been an option.

We have a 2016 MS 38PS3. I searched long and hard for our vacuum breaker when new. Found it behind a removable panel in the pantry. Good luck.

Where you found the shower connections is the correct area. Look around a little and you should also find 2 plastic lines coming up from below with a brass fitting in between them. That is the back flow preventer. May be as simple as tightening the fittings. Good luck.

The knuckle draggers will be along shortly to tell you to delete the back flow device. DO NOT LISTEN TO THEM> It is there for your, and the rest of the public water users, safety. Not very expensive and easy to change.

You did say grey water, so you will find 2 devices. One for the black tank and one for grey.

Back flow valve location

Thanks,
I have looked by the shower connections twice already. Yesterday I bought an adjustable inspection mirror maybe I can see further down the shower wall with that.

One more time. In the 38PS3, the backflow preventer are behind the panel in the pantry. The pantry is to the right of the refrigerator.

Thanks.
I have already looked in the access panel that is in pantry once and could not see or feel anything. I will take your suggestion and look one more time. Maybe the mirror will help. Mine should be in the same location as yours hopefully.
