No hot water after de-winterizing

I did it again. Flushed the system, ran all the air out, fired up the hot water heater and couldn't for the life of me figure out why I had luke warm water.
As part of mt winterizing process I open all of the valves and leave them open. What happens with the outside shower is that with both valves open hot and cold water mix since the shower head is closed and you get warm water. Once I closed the valves I had hot water and all was well.
This first time this happened it took me days to figure it out.

Hi admin,

That was little quick ( I think). At least you've figured out the problem because the same problem happened with my hot water heater and I was stuck badly. Ultimately when there was no hope, I called an expert to help me out.
