Fireplace repair

Need to replace a hinge to the metal control cover.

Appears as though the unit was screwed into wood a the four front corners.

Any tips on how to remove the unit, without damage?

I had mine out a few years ago (1 trailer ago) If I remember correctly there are only the 4 corner screws.

Good luck

Bill

Our fireplace just has the 4 corner screws. All you have to do is support the fireplace while you remove the screws. When they are removed the fireplace comes out easily.
