Stove Lid

Our Corian stove lid had the 1/8" inserts come out for the second time.

Has anyone else had this problem and how did you fix it?

I've had the same issue. Tried Silicone and Super glue. Neither has worked well. Going to take the lid to a Corian shop when I get back to Dallas. I'm sure they can fix the darn thing.

Can't tell from the pic what is wrong. I am assuming our 11-yr-old stove top is similar to yours? Mine has a piano hinge across the entire section and is holding up just fine.
Is there a different pivot arrangement now?
There are many Corian repair vids on YouTube to check with.
