Norcold 6162 propane issue

When trying to use the fridge on 12v/propane, you can manually start the fridge to run on propane. It will run for 3-4 hours, then stop and give the “x” code on the panel for LP.

The burner tubes and the parts going to the propane and flame have been replaced. I’ve been told to replace the spark ignition sensor but I’m seeing on you tube that this applies if it’s not working at all on propane. As stated above, you can manually start it in propane, it just won’t stay that way.

You might try cleaning the flame sensor with steel wool before replacing. I have had the flame sensor get dirty and cause intermittent problems like this.
