I fully understaqnd his reluctance. Just looking at that row of screws in the clamp piece is enough to make you think twice but keep the spare battery for the portable drill/driver charged up and it goes fairly quickly.

Bruce,

Where did you get the seal from? Did you have to order it from DT or find it at another source?

Seal

Mike

Not to hijack the thread but I had my dealer order me one from DT no cost to me and when they sent it it was long enought I believe to make another one when the first one wears out. I think it is just seal material that they cut off of a big roll.

As always good camping

Joyce and Jerry

Mike:

As Jerry says, I suspect if you request it of Kent, he will ship you one at no cost, JMO. I dropped by the factory on our way north from snowbirding and had already made enquiries by phone before I got there about 2 issues:

Cracked fender trim and replacement seal.

When I arrived they were both waiting for me on a shelf in the room behind receptionists desk. Kent came out to the front to say hello and chat a bit as well. All in all, I love that factory experience. Like yourself I prefer to do a lot of this stuff myself.
