2002 fORD F250 4X4 LEAF SPRINGS

When I purchased my F250 ,previously owned, I was told it had an extra leaf spring installed for towing. So, How many leaf springs is standard on this truck ,3 ,4, 5 ?? I just want to know if it does have one or not. Thanks for any help

In 2002 overload springs were standard equipment from the factory.
They became standard in mid 2001.
I don't ?? think ?? they are standard any more though.

I counted the leafs and there's six. While out and about I checked several other F250's and they all had six. So I would say you are correct. I was thinking I had one extra ,seven, but evendently it's factory. Thanks for the response.
